Cloud by Thukhamein Hlaing
With “Cloud”, Thukhamein Hlaing investigates the nature of clouds, their aesthetical beauty and short-lived existence, with visual artworks and poems. Using "Cloud" as a metaphor, the artist discusses the shifting nature of humans, their impacts and histories during a brief fleeting period of human life. For him, looking at clouds is looking into a mirror. His works are spaces for him to contemplate about morals and ethics of living as well as about truth and justice. The exhibition takes the viewer on a journey of the artist progressing contemplation of the relationships between himself, life, humans, the environment and clouds.
